in 1992 when she was just graduating from high school Amanda Bossard started her education in marine biology with Alaska Pacific University, Anchorage in Alaska. Bossard's journey to professional success began in 1999 with a job at the vessel F/V Sunset. It is a 65-foot vessel, which was a halibut fishing vessel, was transformed into a tender for salmon by Murat Ariatn, who is a commercial fisherman for more than 20 years. Bossard has been married Aritan. The couple has come together and have claimed the respective businesses. They are supporters of conservative and profitable renewable seafood resource management. Otolith was founded by Philadelphia by Bella Bossard who is now mother to two kids with ages of 3 and 1 Bossard. The couple is separated by 5 months and more for her to focus on her finances as well as the environment. Since July of 2016, Bossard as well as her daughters Isabella age 12 and Andre age 10 Andre age 10 return to Southeast Alaska annually each summer to work as deckhands throughout the harvest of wild salmon in the summer.
